The same program offered by LaSalle College Vancouver campus's curriculum, which is one of the best game design schools in North America.

Students in the Game Art and Design Diploma program build skills in design, level design, game scripting, written communication, as well as 2D and 3D art. Students learn to write professional design documentation, design games, game systems, game mechanics and level environments, as well as apply knowledge to create their own interactive experiences. Students also have the opportunity to develop professional quality production work to showcase in a portfolio project.

The program, given in English, consists of 6 terms and each term is 12 weeks. This education, which is followed for 3 years around the world, is completed in 2 years as our school continues in the spring terms. There are 11-week holidays in the Summer, and 1-week holidays between the terms.

Our students who successfully complete their education are entitled to receive the Game Design Diploma sent by our headquarters in Canada. The graduates of this program are also given a certificate from Turkish based Beykoz University.

Graduates will demonstrate:

  • The application of learned concepts from foundation level design courses: Game design principles and terminology, research, critical analysis, prototyping, gaming systems design, level design, user-interface design, design for business requirements, as well as scripting and art.
  • Applied technical knowledge of scripting, design tools and software, in accordance with current industry standards.
  • Practical understanding and application of the principles of game design, systems design, level design, user interface design, user experience design, platform-specific design, and free-to-play game design.
  • Professionalism through the process of conceptualizing, planning, executing, and delivering quality game design projects that will lead toward the capstone project and self-promotion package, in accordance with current industry standards.
  • Knowledge of the managerial and developmental aspects of the game production pipeline, and demonstrate knowledge of planning, budgeting, specifications, constraints, scope, teamwork, problem solving, and deadlines that go into making a market-ready game.
  • Ability to work on team-based game development projects.


Graduates receive an International Diploma issued by our headquarters, LaSalle College Montreal.
