Vancouver campus Bachelor's Degree programs are accredited by YÖK!
Great news!
We are proud of to announce that all our Vancouver campus Bachelor's Degree programs are accredited by YÖK (The Council of Higher Education of Turkey) as of 2021. We will be sharing the application results of our Barcelona and Melbourne campuses in the near future.
It is a great opportunity for all students, who would like to study in Canada, and who would like to have equivalency by YÖK.
Since our education curricula are the same, all our Istanbul campus students will be able to continue their education at all LaSalle campuses, including our Vancouver campus, by having 'Credit Transfer'. Our graduates, on the other hand, will be able to study at our Canadian Vancouver campus for 2 more years, have their Bachelor's degrees, and YÖK equivalency. Within the scope of the Credit Transfer Program, all of our students will be able to apply for a work & study permit.
The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) was established with the Turkish Law and all higher education institutions in Turkey have gathered under the roof of YÖK; academies, universities, educational institutions have been transformed into the faculties of education, and conservatories and vocational higher schools (VHS) have been affiliated to universities. YÖK has focused on being mainly responsible for the strategic planning of higher education, the coordination between universities, and most importantly establishing and maintaining quality assurance mechanisms.
